1) Slavery continued in the South that's why the slave trade was banned.
2) Whites sat in the front of the bus whereas blacks sat at the back.
3) Blacks couldn't lead a normal life because of the color of their skin.
4) Blacks worked very hard although they were poor.
5) Blacks were treated as second class citizens however they stood up for their rights.
