Dear 8th grades,

My name is Jenifer. I'm American, but I live in France. When I moved here, I didn't speak french, ans the first words I learned were '' and '', because I had to ask directions to find my find my way around Paris. I used tuu be a model and I traveled two many differents countries for photographs. I went to Germany, Italy, Morocco and spain. In each country, I tried to learn a few words. You may be intersted to know I write books. One of my book has been translated into German and French. Another book has been translated into Thai, and one'sbeing translated to Korean ! Communication's important to me. It's a way to connect people and understand them. Understanding helps peoples to get along.

What do you think about languages and understanding ? Do you think that peoples should learn more languages ? What languages do you speak ? Do you think peoples should try to understand each other to get along better ? I would be interested in you opinion.
