This is an image of a work of art by Mr. Brainwash. The American street artist, made famous by the film "Going out through the gift shop", directed by fellow British artist Banksy, painted this mural in Los Angeles, right next to his studio. It represents Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr. and Barack Obama standing side by side. On the left side of the wall there is a text, directly referring to these figures. On another wall next to it, the words "Follow your dreams" are also painted. Rosa Parks was the first African-American woman to dare and "sit up" for her rights and therefore for the rights of all African-Americans. Her symbolic and heroic action - sitting in a place reserved for whites on the bus, her refusal to give up her seat and the fact that she appealed her sentence - was a starting point for Martin Luther King Jr.'s struggle for Africa - American Civil Rights. Indeed, the Reverend took the first step in his struggle by launching a boycott of the bus company involved in the Rosa Parks case. He then went on to advocate for civil rights, promoting the values of non-violent protests. One of his most memorable actions was the historic Washington March for Jobs and Freedom in 1963. He went to the Lincoln Memorial (what a symbol too, knowing that Lincoln was the one who abolished slavery in the United States), followed by about 250,I have a dream". Unfortunately, he was finally assassinated a few years later for his duties. I find this work very interesting and splendid.
