Read this letter from a student in the US. Then write a reply. Introduce yourself
and answer the questions in the letter.
Hi! My name is Tom Darrow, and I'm a college student in
Chicago, Illinois. My major is Film Studies
Right now, I'm taking a class in Film Theory and Culture,
where we learn about other cultures and their opinions about
movies. This week, we have to find out what people from
different cultures think about current movies. Can you help
me? Can you tell me what kinds of movies young people in
your country like? How do they feel about them? Please write
me back--I really need your help!

Hi Tom!
I am (...). I am also a college student but I study in Paris, France.
I take class in electronics and we do a lot of mathematics, we learn about pc!
Your studies seem very interesting!
I think that most of the young people watch sad romantic films like “nos étoiles contraires”. People watch a lot of American films. The French films are more about comedy! Or maybe actions films like “mission impossible” or “James bond”.
I a not sure but about the romantic ones, we feel like we want to have this life, with the perfect boyfriend you know.
And the action ones, are excited with suspens, dead body and everything.
