Sexism is an term based on the idea that some persons, mostly women are inferior and have less rights in society because of their sex. Nowadays there are not as many examples of sexism as the society is trying its best in being equal. A popular sexist phrase is “women’s place is in the kitchen” which means in the point of view of a man a woman is not as intelligent or powerful as men and can’t do any other jobs than carrying about children and being a good wife(100 years ago) which is completely false and is an good example of sexism.
