The New York liberty is a women's basketball team , they played for New York City in the WNBA. Their connection to history is the statue of liberty which also appears on their logo , one of their most famous player is Coppie Pondexter ,but the team is very talented because they had arrived 4 times in the final of the WNBA but had won 0 titles which is a shame but other than basketball the New York liberty are not only a basketball team , they alson want to help our planet that's why they participated in the green week .
