Gu's chiken recipe

Preparation: 10 min
cooking: 1/2 hour
Ingredients:
1 spoon olive oil ½ teaspoon paprika
1 large onion ½ teaspoon cumin
3 cloves of garlic ½ turmeric
2 green chillies 2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon salt 1 heaped teaspoon Patak's Madras hot curry paste
1 teaspoon ground coriander ½ tube tomato puree
1 teaspoon chilli powder 3-4 heaped spoons Greek yoghurt
2 Greek yoghurt
Juice of a lemon
Method:
1-Prepare ingredients - chop onions, chilli and garlic, cut chicken in pieces and measure out spices onto a saucer.
2-Heat oil in a large pan.
3-Put onion, chilli and garlic in pan and cook gently for 5 minutes
4-Turn up heat under pan and add chicken pieces.
5-When chicken is browned, add spices and mix thoroughly.
6-Add curry paste - stir thoroughly.
7-Add tomato puree, stir thoroughly and take off heat.
8-Add Greek yoghurt - stir in thoroughly and add lemon juice
9-Put back on a low heat and simmer gently for 1/2 hour.
10-Serve with boiled Basmati rice.
