1. They are looking for the key they have lost. ( to look for : chercher )

7. He phoned his mother for her birthday.( to phone someone : appeler quelqu'un )

2. I love listening to classical music.

8. He’s English, he comes from England.

3. He looks like his father, same eyes, same mouth. ( to look like : ressembler à )

9. He ran to help her with her luggage.

4. He always travels by car.

10. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

5. Will you answer me, please !  (to answer someone : répondre à quelqu'un )

11. The nanny looks after our children every Wednesday. ( look after : s'occuper de )

6. I was waiting for the train when I saw him.

12. He is interested in business economics.

Explications :

Answer : est souvent  suivi d'une péposition ( lorsqu'il a la fonction de nom )

ex : Please, give me an answer to the question.

Mais dans la phrase 5 , c'est un verbe suivi par le complément d'objet .On ne

met donc pas de préposition.
