In your opinion, which of these two documents best illustrates the notion of territory and memory?
Document A : “Remembering and commemorating the past is an essential part of the present.”
Document B: “when collective memory condemns communities to feel the pain of their historical wounds, it is not the duty to remember but a duty to forget That should be honoured”

Honestly I would have chosen Doc B but its up to you.

doc A: This quote talks more about heritage and the territoriality and its relation to identity which was in the past but still affects the future (in a good way)

doc B: This quote talk more about the cult of memory, when history does more harm than good and it also talks about territory,power and memory (which people tries to forget or doesn't like to talk about it. Example: the Bosnian War.
