a) the notorious BIG, Nas, Jay-Z and Busta Rhymes are among the (famous++) rappers of the east coast

b) They are widely recognised as the (good++) East Coast rappers.

c) There is also 50 cent, but he is a bit (popular-).

d) On the West Coast, Tupac shakur, ice clube, Snoop Dog and Dr.Dre are certainly (well-known=) their East Coast equivalents but it seems West Coast rap was a (big+) commercial success.

( famous : adjectif long ==> superlatif : the most + adjectif )

b) They are widely recognised as the best ( = le meilleur ) East Coast rappers.

( good : irrégulier =>superlatif :  the best )

c) There is also 50 cent, but he is a bit less popular.(= moins populaire )

( comparatif d'innfériorité => less + adjectif )

d) On the West Coast, Tupac shakur, ice clube, Snoop Dog and Dr.Dre are certainly as well-known as (=  aussi connus/célèbres  que ) their East Coast equivalents but it seems West Coast rap was a bigger commercial success.
