Shortly after 9 a.m. on September 11, 2001, a plane crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center. The north tower had been hit a few minutes earlier! 19 terrorists hijacked four airliners: two crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon and the last in a wooded area thanks to passenger resistance.
