A log time ago, in Merryworld, witches and wizards, who WERE strong and HAD magical powers, LIVED in peace. But one day Naughty Rogue and his army DECIDED to attack Merryworld. The witches and wizards PREPARED for battle and they DEFEATED Naughty Rogue and his army. The witches and wizards DIDN’T KILL their enemies and DIDN’T PUT them in prison, but they TURNED them into jolly Monsters and they all LIVED happily. DID you KNOW this legend ?

Forme négative : Sujet DID NOT ( DIDN’T ) + Base Verbale ( infinitif sans « to » )
Forme interrogative : DID + Sujet + Base Verbale
Remarque la marque du prétérit n’est pas dans le verbe au formes négatives et interrogatives mais dans l’auxiliaire ( DID )
