Guy Fawkes Night, is the main celebration in the UK each year to commemorate the anniversary of the Powder Conspiracy on 5 November 1605.
The origin of this celebration is that Britain's leading Catholics, along with Guy Fawkes and 11 other associates, attempted to blow up Parliament. The plot failed, and the conspirators were arrested and executed. Bonfire Night, also known as Bonfire Night, also commemorates King James I who escaped the attack. This day was hosted by Robert Catesby .
During this festival, on the eve of 5 November, portraits of Guy Fawkes are designed by children in competitions organised by the schools , cakes are prepared and the selected puppet is burned as a symbol in the name of the town . When finished at dusk, children wearing Guy Fawkes masks ask passers-by for "A penny for the guy" to buy fireworks .
